Emotion is an integral part of the psychological formation. It determines growth and development in any child that reinforce the overall progress and character formation of the child. Development of emotion constitutes the experiences of the child that transform the understanding from the nascent stage to adolescent. It also comprises of the child’s understanding and development of aspects such as imagination and expressions. The changes in behavior and the approaches to life and learning are also factors related to the emotional development of children. Interaction plays a major role in emotional development of a child.

The progress and change in behavior are only possible when the child interacts with the surroundings and society. The close circle of a child comprising of parents, family members, friends, and even teachers are important factors that reinforce emotional development. Isolation of a child hampers this growth and hence a child should be exposed to others in the society as far as possible. Cognitive and neural development of the child is linked to cultural and social influences. Emotional development and social development occur side by side. These two facets are interlinked and interdependent on each other. Social development can be ensured through increased interaction of a child with caregivers, parents and other people in their circle. The circle, one the other hand, should grow with the growth of the child and hence increasing interaction and communication with the society.

The inception of emotion in a child has been a subject of long discussion and speculation. A number of reflexive behaviors such as crying and smiling occur at a much early age. Among these, crying can be considered as a strong emotional response of a child. Pleasure, fear, anger, and interest are some early emotional traits in children that initiates within six months of their birth. It is observed that most of the times negative emotions follow the development of positive emotions. The emotions such as pride and recognition develop at the later stages of the child’s growth. The school and other social organizations play a crucial role in these. Children at any residential school are more exposed to social life that supports faster emotional development and hence maturity.

At the early schools, age children develop a strong sense of independence. Another characteristic is the growth of defiance. The physical development of a child such as the capability to run and climb supports the emotional development at this age. They develop social skills to interact and the skill to understand others at school and other collective environments. Schools play a vital role in the emotional development of a child; hence, they are responsible to offer the environment that supports growth positively.

Given how important teacher desks are, it is surprising to note that that not a lot of attention is paid to the selection process. Most educational institutions can be guilty of just taking into consideration the pricing and virtually ignoring every other aspect that should be considered. In this article, we are going to look at important features to consider when buying teacher desks. Why Teacher Desks are Important? You need to think of a teacher’s desk as being the perfect partner for them. If you are equipping your teachers with the best desks, you are contributing towards increasing their productivity, efficiency and overall convenience. Remember all the stuff that our teachers had piled up on their desks. We are talking about tons of binders, projects, books, charts, papers, stationery, and so many other things. One of the most important things that a good desk helps teachers with is organization. If the teacher’s desk is organized and optimized, the entire classroom can also be considered to be organized. The proper organization ensures that the teacher is able to locate and find everything that they want to and there are no unnecessary delays to the process. This is why it is best to invest in one that is sturdy and durable. Given the times we are living in, make sure that the desk is made of materials that are easy to clean and sanitize regularly. If the material is not conducive to frequent wiping and cleaning, it might get damaged. 2. Ethical Protection for Dresses in the Teacher Desk- The teacher’s desk is often placed facing the children. In between the two legs of the table, the open portion in the front where the legs are placed should be covered from the student-facing side. This will ensure protection for female teachers that wear dresses or skirts. This is something simple but should be accounted for when investing in a teacher’s desk. 3. Security and Locking of the Teacher Desk- Teachers are oftentimes required to safely store grade answer scripts, question papers, and other sensitive documents in their desks. Having a proper lock and key ensures that the same does not get into the wrong hands at any point in time. There are different locks that come with the best teacher desks. From numbered ones to old-fashioned locks that are accessed with a key. 4. Charging and Plug Points in the Teacher Desk- Modern educational environments require smart classrooms. This means that there is an emphasis on using technological tools like laptops, tablets, and other devices to stream video and teaching material on projector screens. This is why you need to go for teacher desks that come inbuilt with plug points and charging devices for electronic gadgets. 5. Features and Convenience of the Teacher Desk- In addition to the security and plug points, teacher desks should also have multiple drawers to help store academic stuff and stationery. The material of the desk should also be able to withstand the pressures and loads that it would be routinely subjected to. If the same has the provision of wheels, it could also be moved around depending on the requirements. The Bottom Line You need to pay a lot of thought and attention to teacher desks. While it might look like something that does not deserve a lot of attention, the reality is different. A good teacher desk can help improve the efficiency and productivity of the teacher. Decide how many hours you will spend studying every week and stick to this plan. Set realistic and achievable goals. This way, you can do your assignments on time, study for exams, and have a social life. Balance: Studying at a university in Dubai allows you to study and socialize; however, you must prioritize your studies and find a balance in your life. Allow enough time for studies and rest. It is tempting to want to party and have fun with friends, but you have to remind yourself why you decided to study. If you always feel overwhelmed, try to do the most vital or challenging tasks first. Avoid Multitasking: You will never get anything done if you focus on many things at once. The best way to excel at your university in Dubai is to follow your planner; study when you need to and do your assignments as you have planned. Multitasking like watching TV or using your phone while studying distracts you and causes poor absorption of information; this might cause failure or requiring more time to study. Focusing on many tasks also causes brain-drain. Don’t Overwork: Working hard will help you excel in your studies; however, overworking will strain you, and you might not achieve your goals. Study breaks are crucial to achieving success; it motivates and helps you to stay focused. A productive study break leaves you energized and ready to study again.  Effective breaks should refresh and give your mind a break. Doing different things activate different parts of your brain. If you were revising, do something completely different, like taking a short walk. Allowing your mind to rest allows it to absorb and retain more information. Start Early: The best way to excel and have balance your studies and social life in the university is to start early. Start with your assignments and essays early; it reduces stress, and you can submit an extensively-researched paper. Waiting to write several essays and meet deadlines at the last minute increases pressure and stress. It also leads to low-quality output which means failure. Stress is harmful to your physical and mental wellbeing. Routine: Having a routine and sticking to it crucial for your wellbeing. You get enough rest and still accomplish your goals. It’s easy to go with the flow in the university because life is not structured and you have a few rules on what to do at a particular time. Routines can be exciting, reduce stress, and improve health; these are essential for goal achievement. Ask for Support: Do not shy away from asking for help if you find anything too hard to grasp. Knowing when to ask for support helps you to avoid mistakes and save time. Some topics can be hard to understand, and no matter how hard you try, you just don’t get it. It’s necessary to ask your peers or the professor for help instead of failing. Going to university is fun and exciting because you have more freedom. However, there are more responsibilities. You want to study, socialize and have time for yourself and all these can be overwhelming. You have to prioritize and plan how to deal with every aspect of your life.
