Training Courses

We know that many online programs conduct various training courses in relation to almost every field. SAP HANA is also a business-related course which has the importance of its own. But before we discuss something about the SAP HANA training course, let us tell you about SAP HANA. Sap HANA is a database system which is an in-memory and column-oriented database which is relational too. The database is marketed and made both by SAP SE. It is an analytic appliance with high-performance. The primary function of the database is to act as a potential memory and store data and nit only store but to retrieve it too as commanded by the different applications.

In addition to storing and retrieving data, SAP HANA functions in relation to advanced analytics. By advanced analytics, we mean things like spatial data processing, data search, text analytics, predictive analytics, data processing with the help of a graph, streaming analytics, etc. The database also serves as an application server including ETL capabilities. In computing language, ETL is commonly known as Extract, Transform, Load and this uses database warehousing and database usage especially.

Courses Offered In Relation To SAP HANA :

SAP HANA training includes various courses which an individual can seek like that of- preparing  easy installation and post-installation of the database system, its initialization, execution, and data recovery or more accurately data retrieval, sizing of the SAP system, its studio installation, SAP memory management, and its persistence as well, software packaging, also an interactive education program called SHINE. Individuals are given exposure to all these things and many more. Managing administrative tools, SAP tools, etc are some other things covered under this training. So, you should immediately enroll yourself as the training firms also provide a certificate for it.

Some Additional Course To It :

In addition to above, some more courses include-

  • Starting and Stopping of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) HANA,
  • Configuring SAP HANA and SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products)HANA Table Administration
  • Periodic Tasks management, Configuring Traces
  • Working with Diagnosis Information and Diagnosis Files
  • SQL Console, Backup and Recovery, Data Area Backup, Log Area Backup, Additional Backup Topics, Backup and Recovery using Storage Snapshot, Transporting Changes, Concept of Backup and Recovery.
  • Database Copy Security OverviewAuthentication and AuthorizationEncryption and Auditing along with Maintaining Users and Authorization, User Management and types of Privileges attaining Information Sources for Administrators,
  • SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) HANA Live Authorization Assistant, SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) HANA Scale-Out, Architecture and Technology, Backup and Recovery of MDC that is the acronym for Multitenant Database Container, High Availability and Disaster Tolerance

As we know that in any business or a multi-national company we have huge amount of data that needs to be stored and if by chance we lose the data then we should have an option of data retrieving because a big business or a firm cannot afford data loss as this data is the record of several important things which would actually result in financial loss too. Hence this training course is really important.

Global MBA

GMAT or GRE? Which is the Superior Choice for a Global MBA

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test and is conducted by a non-profit council of leading business schools, known as GMAC (Graduate Management Admissions Council). GRE stands for Graduate Record Entrance and is conducted by ETS (Education Testing Services), the world’s largest private nonprofit educational testing and assessment organization. Until 2011 GMAT was the test for master degrees in management (MBA, MiM, MSF etc), and GRE was the test for master degrees in core disciplines (MS in a range of science, arts, and humanities subjects). Then GRE underwent a major change of format and began to be accepted by almost all of the world’s main business schools. As a result, “GMAT or GRE” has become a major question. Exam formats: Both the GMAT and GRE test verbal, quantitative, and writing aptitude. However, the nature of their questions is different. The differences between the two are subtle but significant enough that the two tests require different preparation strategies. The GRE focuses more on memory testing, its verbal questions focus on vocabulary and its quant questions often require an almost direct application of formulae and concepts. The GMAT, by contrast, focuses on logical ability. GMAT verbal questions require more exact reasoning and its quant questions require an extended application of mathematical concepts. Scoring processes: The GRE maximum score was 2400, until 2002 when it was changed to 1600. At the moment, GRE candidates are scored on a scale of 260 to 340, with 327 being the approximate 90th percentile. GMAT candidates are scored on a scale of 200 to 800, with 700 considered to be the 90th percentile. While the GRE scoring has changed a lot; the GMAT scoring has been consistent, for decades. Both tests also have an analytical writing assessment, which is scored on a scale of 6. This score does not contribute to the candidate’s total score. Score interpretation: Most business schools are more comfortable with GMAT scores than with GRE scores. This is because they have been using GMAT scores for much longer and the GMAT scoring has remained consistent. Another reason is that the GMAT has a wider score range, which allows for a more accurate interpretation of the candidate’s standing. Most admissions to the US top 50 happen through GMAT: As per the official GMAC website, 90% of all enrollments in the top 50 United States business schools happen through GMAT. While GRE scores are just as valid as GMAT scores, the numbers do not lie. The top business schools have a clear preference for GMAT, as it is the preferred choice of serious MBA candidates and the one that they are more familiar with. Verdict: While there is no one correct answer, the facts are clear. For a variety of factors, mentioned above, the world’s leading business schools prefer to consider GMAT scores. This may be because GMAT, unlike GRE, was always meant to be a management admissions test. However, it is worth noting that with a high enough score the format will largely be overlooked. Extra tip: There is one scenario where GRE is better. For those who have not decided whether they want to pursue core discipline or management education, GRE’s versatility makes it a good option.

College Textbooks

How to Reduce the Cost of College Textbooks

Textbooks are a painful purchase for any student. Year after year, prices continue to rise, often resulting in textbook fees being added to the pile of crippling student loan debt facing the nation. Fortunately, there are some ways that you can reduce the cost of your books. College Textbooks can make things simple for a student.  There is almost never a need to buy a brand new textbook at full price, so explore your options before you commit to anything. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t plan on buying all of your books in one transaction because purchasing them individually will net the most savings. Forget the Campus Bookstore Unless you are bound by a tuition stipend or other financial means to purchase your books at the campus bookstore, stay away. This is the guaranteed way to pay the highest prices for textbooks, even when buying used. The bookstore used to be the source for students, but thanks to technology, there are plenty of other ways to get the books that you need for a lot less. The exception here is for research purposes; in most cases, the campus store is going to have the highest prices. However, there may be a rare occasion where they don’t. Feel free to call or visit and get a list of prices for the books that you need, just for the sake of comparison when you go online to shop around. Always Buy Used Unless there is a specific text you will keep forever or absolutely need the brand new edition of for some reason, buy your books used. These are at least ⅓ less than the cost of brand new books, and offer the same information on the pages. Some are in better condition than others, but most used resellers will provide condition information and pictures of the book you are purchasing so that you can see what you are actually getting. You can find thousands of used copies online at prices that you can afford. When you are buying used books, check out their resale value and the return policy of the seller you purchase from. Reselling your books after the semester is over is a great way to recoup some money that can go towards next semester’s books. Or, you can take the money and treat yourself for saving hundreds on your textbooks by buying used in the first place. The return policy is important because if a book arrives in unusable condition, you need to be able to send it back. Your class won’t be nearly as informative with a partial textbook, after all. Rent or Borrow Books The school or public library might have books that you need for classes. Before you spend a dime, look into these sources for common texts, literature books, and other texts available for you to borrow. Libraries are a great resource that often gets overlooked. The downside here is that you may only be able to borrow a book for a part of the semester. Ask about their renewal policies when considering this option. College Textbooks can make your life easier by all means. There is an increasing market in the campus bookstore realm for textbook rentals. This is another exception to the “avoid the bookstore” rule, of course. The most expensive texts are usually available for rental from your campus store, which might be the best financial option. Before you rent, though, make sure that you know what you are signing up for. Take extra good care of the books so that you aren’t charged for damage upon their return, or forced to purchase them outright (which is what you were trying to avoid in the first place). You can also rent textbooks online, or download ebook versions of the texts that you need for your college classes. Sell Your Old Books You can reduce the cost of your next semester’s textbook bill by selling your old books. Don’t sell them back to the campus bookstore, because they usually don’t offer much. Plus, you might only get credit to use in the store. Instead, consider selling them online or through community marketplaces. Advertise them around campus for other students, too. When you sell textbooks online, you can often choose the price and compare what others are selling. That gives you a better idea of how much you can actually earn. Feel free to look around and get a few different quotes before you commit. Most re-seller websites that buy college texts will allow you to enter the ISBN and get an estimate of how much you will get for the books you are selling. See where you can get the most money for your books, even if you have to sell them in a few different places. A Little Research Goes a Long Way Your college book purchases don’t have to break the bank. Whether you need to reduce the cost on the front end or just make up the difference and sell textbooks to help cut the costs, there are plenty of options available. Just give yourself a little time to explore your options. An extra hour of your time could save you hundreds, no matter what degree you are studying.
