Histology

If You Are Interested in Studying Histology This Article is for You

The universe as it is is filled with an immeasurable amount of mysteries, and although the world itself is a part of this universe, it is also the house of an incredible amount of mysteries, some of which we have managed to solve along the course of our history. Back in the day rain used to be one mystery that we could predict to a certain extent thanks to the visual clues we could get from clouds and temperature. However, as time went by, we accumulated knowledge, technologies, and of course, theories, eventually solving the mystery of rain and how it actually worked. Just like this, we have been capable of resolving several mysteries related to many things in the world. But there’s a particular type of study that has focused on a very mysterious yet necessary area of our society, and that is biology, since thanks to it, we were capable of understanding even the tiniest of things: Microorganisms. In this article, we will talk about one particular area of biology known as histology, and showcase histology basics for bioscientists that might be interested in studying as a biology career. Biology and Its Many Branches Biology can be described as the scientific study of life. Considering the incredible amount of organisms and species that enter this category as well as the many things that can influence them, it is normal for biology to have a broad scope, covering several different types of studies with all of them focusing on one particular aspect of life. The practice of focusing on said specific studies are often considered as branches, since each branch of biology focuses on one particular thing, varying in complexity and objectives. Good examples of this include: Agriculture focuses on the study of the reproduction and maintenance of livestock and crops for our consumption. Anatomy, focuses on the study of the physique of the animal form, more specifically, the human physique. Zoology is considered the study of animals, their physical structure, development, reproduction, behavior, and classification. Among some branches, you can find sub-branches like: Entomology, the study of insects Herpetology, the study of reptiles Virology, the study of viruses Primatology, the study of primates. You can get to know all of them over at https://www.biologyonline.com/dictionary/branches-of-biology in case you are interested, now… Where does histology enter the play? The Microscopic Study of Tissue Unperceived by the human eye, we can find a wide range of microscopic entities in the world, some of them belonging to the physical structure of different biological organisms, including animals, plants, and humans. Believe it or not, many aspects of the body of animals and plants are actually created through the combination of several of these microscopic entities combined to form a larger group of microorganisms, capable of then forming something known as a tissue. These microorganisms are frequently referred to as cells, and histology is the study of said cells, and the tissue they form when grouped together. The tissue then enters different categories depending on the organism being studied. With animals and humans, they are categorized as: Nervous tissue is in charge of managing and coordinating several physiological functions of the body. Muscular tissue, expand and contract to allow movement Epithelial tissue is found throughout the body, creating components like skin, organs, glands, and many more components. Connective tissue, which, as the name implies, is found between the other tissues and works as the connection between them to work properly. In plants, as shown over here, you can find vascular, dermal, meristematic, and ground tissue. Why Histology Matters Histology played an important role in the understanding of several aspects of our society that are nowadays considered essential. Several types of diseases and viruses were only understood once we were capable of studying microorganisms since most of them influence the body on a microscopic level. Of course, the same can be said for archeology, which is described as the study of remains of past activities involved in our history and development. Many aspects of archeology are only possible thanks to histology since it allows a much deeper comprehension of animal and human life back in the day. The Benefits Of Modular Classrooms In Education

The Benefits Of Modular Classrooms In Education

In a world where children dream of fun camping trips and exciting days at the pool, why not infuse their educational journey with a dose of creativity and flexibility? In the ever-evolving landscape of education, innovation is the key to unlocking brighter futures for our students. Modular classrooms stand out as the optimal learning environments that foster growth, adaptability, and collaboration. Gone are the days of traditional brick-and-mortar structures that limit educational possibilities. From elementary schools to universities, many educators nowadays turn to flexible and sustainable modular classroom building. Whether you're tired of the same old classroom routine or just someone who's fascinated by the blend of architecture and education, these structures are worth checking out. Thanks to the durable materials and high-quality construction, they can handle the wear and tear of everyday school life with ease. Fast Construction Regular construction is such a pain - the noise, the dust, the never-ending wait. Well, with modular classrooms, all those headaches disappear. These structures are prefabricated off-site, which means while the building's being built, your school life remains nice and peaceful. No more dodging construction zones on your way to class! And once they're done with the construction, they deliver them to your school ready to go. It's like a huge puzzle that's already been put together! You don't have to wait months and months for the building’s completion. So, how fast can you build a modular classroom? You can have a brand-new structure up and running in just over two months! No more waiting around for ages, dealing with construction delays, and counting the days. So, whether your school needs to accommodate a growing student population or wants to create a flexible space for different activities, modular is the answer! Cost-Effective Traditional construction can be a money drain. From hefty material costs to never-ending labour fees, it often leaves schools scratching their heads and digging deep into their pockets. But with modular classrooms, it's a whole different ballgame. They build these structures in a controlled environment, which means less waste and more savings. And since they’re built in record time, you save on labour costs. Less time on-site means less money spent on construction workers. With these buildings, you can avoid the headache of unexpected expenses that often pop up in traditional construction, such as surprise repairs or delays that can send the budget skyrocketing. Their streamlined process keeps things predictable and budget friendly. So, whether you're on a tight budget or a savvy spender who loves getting more bang for your buck, these classrooms are the answer. You don't have to break the bank to create a top-notch learning environment! Sustainable Eco classrooms are built with sustainability in mind, using sustainable materials and energy-efficient features. Since the construction happens off-site, they produce way less waste than traditional construction. The manufacturer carefully selects the materials to minimize their impact on the environment. A modular classroom building will also reduce energy consumption. With proper insulation and ventilation, they keep the temperature just right without overloading the AC. That means lower energy bills and less strain on the planet. Modular structures are like the eco-warriors that come to the rescue. They’re built to last, so they reduce the need for constant repairs and replacements. This way you’re investing in a sustainable future for generations to come! Minimal Disruption With modular buildings, the noise, the dust, and the blocked pathways that drive everyone crazy are a thing of the past! Since they're built off-site, all that noisy construction stuff happens far away from your school. It's like the construction zone is in a secret location, away from all the daily hustle and bustle. So, your students can continue learning and your teachers can continue teaching, without any interruptions. And when they're ready, they just deliver the completed structure right to your school. No more waiting for months and months for a building to rise from the ground. The assembly process is super quick and efficient. It's like a well-coordinated dance – they bring in the pieces, fit them together like a jigsaw puzzle, and before you know it, your brand-new classroom is ready to roll. Say goodbye to blocked paths and detours that can feel like a maze. With modular classroom buildings, it's smooth sailing all the way! Customisation Every school is unique and has different needs. This is why you need a super flexible structure, so you can customise it to fit your school's personality and requirements. From the layout to the colour scheme, it's all in your hands. You can go wild with your creativity and create a space that reflects your school's vibe and values. You can choose the number of rooms, the size of each one, and even the configuration – it's like building your own educational paradise! Want big windows to flood the classroom with natural light? You got it. Fancy a cool outdoor deck for some fresh air learning? No problem. The possibilities are practically endless! Plus, the manufacturers understand that schools change over time. Maybe you need to expand in the future or reconfigure the rooms for a different purpose – not a big deal for modular structures. They're the shape-shifting transformers of education! Mobility Sometimes schools are expanding, relocating, or just trying to keep up with the changing educational landscape. If your school needs to move to a new location, modular classrooms are your trusty sidekick, ready to pack up and hit the road. It's like having a portable structure that you can take wherever you go! And this mobility doesn't mean you're compromising on quality. These structures are built to the same standards as traditional buildings, so you're getting durability, comfort, and flexibility all rolled into one. The mobility also means you can repurpose these classrooms. Need a new science lab or an art studio? No problem! It's like having a classroom that's always up for a makeover, no contractor needed. Bottom Line From their rapid construction that saves time and reduces disruptions to their cost-effectiveness eases the burden on school budgets, these modular classrooms have proven to be a game-changer. Their flexibility and customizability empower schools to create learning spaces that reflect their unique vision and adapt to ever-changing educational needs. Moreover, their sustainable design showcases a commitment to both student growth and environmental responsibility. These buildings embrace innovation and pave the way for a brighter future in education! NEET 2018 Notification Delayed: Is it due to MCI Amendments?

Students aspiring for NEET 2018 are anxiously waiting for its official notification which was expected to be out on Feb 1, 2018. The first week of February 2018 has already come to an end and there is no official update or word released from the conducting authorities on the official website. It has become a moment of Deja-vu as recalling NEET 2017 and its timeline of debatable events and consequent delays that followed. Lakhs of aspirants are waiting to fill the application form for NEET 2018 preferably before they start with their board exams in March. Till now there is no confirmation from CBSE as to by when will they release the NEET 2018 notification. It is speculated that the cause of the notification being delayed by the official body this year is the cap of age limit fixation on NEET. Medical Council of India on January 22, 2018, released an official gazette which states that the upper age limit for taking NEET UG test to be 25 years for unreserved category candidates and relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates making it 30 years for them. If this is the actual reason for the delay of the NEET 2018 exam notification then it is difficult to say that the notification will be released anytime soon as no official word from the authorities is out yet. MCI has made amendments in the “Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997”, which clearly states that the students who have appeared or are appearing as a private candidate or through open schools for their class 12 examination are not allowed to appear for NEET. As per NEET Eligibility Criteria, candidates can only sit for the exam if they have two years of regular and continuous study of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in class 12th as a full-time student. Furthermore, opting for Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject in 10+2 is not allowed. In addition to this, there is also an upper age limit as mentioned above. The upper age limit specified in the amendment would be applicable as on the date of the examination. Till date, the minimum age limit for NEET is set at 17 years as on or before December 31 in the year of admission to the medical college. The new amendment has introduced the maximum age limit as well which is 25 years for general category students and 30 years for reserved category students. The respective age has to be attained by students sitting for the NEET exam and calculation of age will be on the date of the examination. This means that for NEET 2018 general and reserved candidates should not be above 25 years and 30 years respectively on the date of the exam which is tentatively May 06, 2018. Keeping in mind the interest of open and private school students, National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS has not accepted these amendments made by MCI. NIOS has written to the Ministry of Human Resource and Development to take action against the gazette released by MCI. MHRD has accepted the application from NIOS and has advised the Ministry of Health not to implement the new rules and roll back the amendments. There have been reports which suggest that the MCI has been asked to take back their amendments made on January 22, 2018, but there is no confirmation yet regarding the same. It may so happen that MCI is working on making changes in their orders which is resulting in CBSE delaying the release of NEET 2018 notification. There could also be contention over the age limit mentioned in the notification because as per news reports few students were planning of taking this matter to the Supreme Court. Students are planning to challenge the MCI’s upper age limit rule for NEET in the apex court. There is no clear picture yet as to the new rules by MCI will be implemented from this year or not. It seems that different bodies like NIOS, MCI and Ministry of Health all have different opinions over the matter of upper age limit and private school students appearing for NEET. The delay in NEET 2018 online notification may be extended if there is no conclusion over the MCI’s gazette soon. Hopefully, the medical aspirants this year do not have to face the same chaos which faced in the NEET 2017 and the NEET 2018 application process starts within a week.
