Dating websites have emerged as one of the gateways to finding a relationship, at least for the younger generation. Quite several websites offer the opportunity of meeting someone on the Internet. Nowadays, it is just like meeting a stranger in a pub. Here we are going to tell you 5 Online Dating Tips which you must know.

You must know a few things if you’re thinking about joining this ongoing trend or you’ve just started. Here are a few tips to help you stay gentlemanly as you foray into the online dating world.

Here are 5 Online Dating Tips:

1. Avoid misrepresenting yourself

It is important that are honest about yourself. Do not portray yourself as being something other than you are. You want to avoid the thought of “He looks completely different in person” in your date’s mind. Dating or meeting people should not be about vanity. Make sure you don’t fall into the temptation of lying about your education, job, or anything else. If your date finds out that they are being lied to, they may take all you’ve been saying to them as a lie. So, keep it real and also remember that your date may not be entirely truthful either. Avoid deceiving yourself in your dating as this is one of our great dating tips.

2. Tone down on your expectation

Bear it in mind that the Internet is only a means to meet people. It is only a channel and should not be mistaken for a way of really knowing them. After meeting them online, you need to meet them in person to properly get to know them. Always remember that their pictures may not present them as they are. So, it is not a crime to assume that their pictures are old, edited, or just present them in the best way possible. Click here to learn more first date tips for men.

3. Always lead the conversation

date

Online dating platforms are a means of helping shy people since meeting people in person can prove awkward. You will do yourself a lot of good if you lead the conversation as much as you can. It will help in preparing you for when you eventually meet your date. Remember that it can take up to three dates for you to know if you connect with someone.

4. Be ready to accept rejection

Remember that if you find a match, it simply means that you are mutually interested in each other. This does not mean you have started dating. In essence, if you get a “NO”, do not feel too bad about it and move on. Also, if she does not reply to your messages or tells you she’s not interested, don’t take it personally.

5. Do not be in a haste to avoid your date

dont avoid your date

If your date is miles away from the mental picture you have created, make sure to be as polite as possible. There’s no harm to meeting someone new, so stay on your date regardless of how boring or terrible it is. Do not sneak off and keep them waiting. Stay on your date, at least for a little while.

Online dating can be awkward, most especially for people who did not grow up using the Internet. It is worth giving a try if you are single and want to make things exciting.

The Benefits Of A Great Wedding Venue

Every woman dreams of that one special, magical day when all eyes will be upon them as they glide down the aisle to meet the man of their dreams at the other end. While everybody wants everything to run as smoothly as possible the day of the wedding, it's no secret that the weeks and months beforehand take a toll on everybody involved. There is stress, tears, and the occasional complete meltdown, but it is all worth it in the end. What is one of the most important aspects to consider when planning your wedding? Location, location, location! Why is it Important to Have a Great Wedding Venue? The location of the wedding makes all the difference in the world. That also means it is one of the most important decisions the bride and groom will make when planning their special day. There are so many factors that go into deciding on the perfect location, including the size of the venue, how many guests are coming, weather, etc. It is essential that the happy couple decides on a place as soon as possible. It is important to pick the location early on because once that decision is made, other choices will easily fall into places, such as the color and the decorations. The location also plays a vital role in keeping all of the guests happy. A wedding is supposed to start off the life of the newly married couple on the right foot. Making sure the guests are happy, comfortable, and entertained is also an important aspect. The venue should also give off the correct atmosphere and offer flexibility to meet the needs of the bride and groom. It is also important to remember the staff that will be working at the said location. It is important that the staff understands how important this day and make sure they are their best behavior. With all of that being said, let's take a look at some interesting wedding venues to consider if you are getting married in upcoming months. Andaz Scottsdale Resort: The Hyatt Andaz Resort and Bungalows is a beautiful place for a couple to start their new life together. The resort offers several different sections of land that the couple can choose from to host their wedding, including the Cholla Lawn, Palo Verde Lawn, and the Albers Lawn. The Cholla Lawn offers the couple and all of their guests the opportunity to share a wonderful experience under the realm of the Camelback Mountains. If you are looking for a desert landscape to look out over while saying your vows, then consider the Cholla Lawn. The Palo Verde Lawn is often said to be a wondrous outdoor oasis as it overlooks the Camelback Mountain range. When coupled with the Cholla Lawn, something truly magical happens and memories of a lifetime are created that you will never forget. The Albers Lawn is the perfect spot if you are looking for a full-on view of the Camelback mountain ranges. Think about getting married at sunset, with a perfect view of the sun perfectly placed between the mountain tops and throw the party for your reception under the starlight. The Hyatt Andaz Resort is a beautiful place for a future husband and wife to consider starting their wondrous journey of forever together. Other Wedding Venues: There are so many other wedding venues to choose from, including various ranches, spas and resorts, golf courses, manors, and other Scottsdale hotels. The point is that, while the location of the wedding is important and can make both the bride and groom's lives a lot easier and stress-free, what really matters is the person you are meeting at the end of the aisle and the family and friends that celebrate this special day with you. Weddings are a momentous and special occasion, and the wedding venue is just one piece of the puzzle that helps to create the magic of that one memorable day. Contemporary Gowns for the Contemporary Bride

Today’s weddings have developed and evolved immensely. Churches aren’t standard – the garden wedding is way more popular. Or vows on the beach. Some couples skip the reception to save money, while others may hold it at a restaurant. Even the bridal gowns have shifted and evolved. Many brides still prefer to wear white, but there are cases where they veer towards champagne, blush, or even powder blue. Some brides go all out, with colorful inlays and dress detail. You might even find a bride in pants, and not necessarily at rainbow weddings. A fine example is Sammie, a ball-gown bridal dress by Rebecca Ingram. Its satiny shimmer, deep v-neck, and sleeveless shoulders mean the bride can wear it more than once, glowing at any evening event. No one will know it’s her wedding dress unless they attended her big day. Plus, it has a beaded belt, a deeply risqué back, and pockets, which you’d never find in a vintage wedding gown. Barely their bride Another sample is Mori Lee 6896. It comes in ivory and nude, and you can clearly glimpse her silhouette beneath her dress. This kind of daring is normal in a 21st-century bride, but would never have made it past an 80s mother-in-law. The name alone (nude!) would have called for cleansing prayers. It’s a gorgeous dress though. And illusion lace makes it more alluring. Then there’s Khatira Alina Kloe. This sheath dress would be at home on any red carpet, with its bareback, polo neckline, and trumpet skirt. The sleeveless design shows off the bride’s well-toned shoulders, while the body-hugging silhouette displays her every curve. This dress requires a six-month pre-wedding fitness regime to really do it justice. Meanwhile, for the bride that wears the pants in the house, there’s Maggie Sottero’s Milan. The lacy tulle jumpsuit is soft enough to feel fully feminine. And it comes with a train that attaches at the waist, so if you check out the bride from the back, it looks like a regular wedding dress. The pant legs do give her extra character and confidence on her big day though. Glamour and color Sometimes, the bride wants to dress a little … louder. This could be an A-line black gothic gown that she can wear anywhere. It’s definitely not a one-day-only wedding dress. It has an off-the-shoulder front-lacing corseted bodice over a flowing skirt. It goes up to Aussie Size 28, but it’s available as an online purchase, so you can key in your measurements for custom sizing. The same e-store has a red gothic wedding gown with black lace overlay and cap sleeves. It’s a mermaid silhouette, so it looks amazing on a curvy bride, though you may have to tuck in your bits. For something more demure but still modern, try a romantic, tiered ball gown. It’s white, with flowered shoulder straps and more applique flowers dotted around the dress. The Best Party Drinks for the Holiday Season: It can be tempting to take the easy way out and only choose the typical holiday drink lineup. However, once you see these decadent options, you won't want anything else at your party. Here are seven prime recipes for cocktails at holiday parties that are sure to win over some grinches. 1. Ginger and Berry Champagne: A classy drink for a classy party, this fruity yet spicy beverage is the perfect party drink idea. Ingredients 1.5 oz. berry-infused cognac 1 oz. alcoholic raspberry ginger beer 1 oz. champagne 3 dashes of Black and Blue Bitters 2-4 fresh berries for garnish Instructions  Add all of these ingredients into a champagne flute and gently stir. Then, follow with a few fresh berries to garnish. For the berry-infused cognac, simply add one pint of fresh berries to jar with two cups of cognac. Allow this to infuse for at least one week before enjoying. 2. Chocolate Peppermint Mimosas: Any chocoholics out there? The winter season is the perfect excuse for chocolate-peppermint heaven - in the form of a drink, of course. Ingredients 1/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips 9 candy canes 6 oz. peppermint schnapps 1 bottle champagne Instructions  Begin this party drink recipe by melting the semisweet chocolate chips in a double boiler, or in the microwave. Then, crush three of the candy cases, while leaving the remaining six whole. Pour both the melted chocolate and crushed candy canes onto separate plates. Dip each champagne flute into the melted chocolate and then the crushed candy cane. Add in 1 ounce of peppermint schnapps to each glass, followed by champagne. Garnish with a whole candy cane in each flute. 3. The Winter Old-Fashioned:  Ingredients 2 oz bourbon .5 oz spiced simple syrup 2 dashes orange bitters 2 dashes aromatic bitters Cinnamon stick Instructions  Start off by spicing the simple syrup in a small saucepan. Simmer the syrup in a 1:1 ratio with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove, and cardamom. Stir all the ingredients together with ice, then strain. Garnish with a fresh orange peel and a whole cinnamon stick. 4. The Ultimate Mistletoe Margaritas: This red and festive margarita is an ideal frosty beverage for those nights that you're craving something icy, sweet, and seasonal. Ingredients 1/2 c. whole cranberries 1/4 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. salt 3/4 c. lime juice 1 wedge lime, for rim 2 c. cranberry juice 12 oz. tequila 8 oz. triple sec 6 c. ice Mint, for garnish Instructions  Begin by mixing the fresh, whole cranberries with one-fourth of a cup of lime juice in a medium-sized bowl. Then, drain the lime juice and add in two tablespoons of granulated sugar. With the remaining sugar and salt, mix them on a small plate. Wet the margarita glass with the lime wedge and dip generously into the plate of salt and sugar. Blend the remaining ingredients of tequila, cranberry juice, triple sec, lime juice, and ice on high-speed until smooth. Pour the mixture into the glass, garnish with a sprig of mint and cranberries, and enjoy this pink festive drink with good company at a small party venue. 5. Spiked Hot Cocoa with Rumchata:  This spiked hot chocolate is best enjoyed next to a toasty fire and a friend. A cocktail that's guaranteed to make you feel warm and comforted. Ingredients  2 c. milk 1/4 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa powder 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 6 oz. chopped bittersweet chocolate 1/2 c. Rumchata 1/3 c. warm caramel Whipped cream Cinnamon sugar Cinnamon stick Instructions  In a small saucepan, begin simmering the milk. Slowly whisk in the sugar, vanilla, and cocoa powder until no lumps remain. Stir in the bittersweet chocolate until fully melted, then add the Rumchata and remove from heat. In a small dish, pour the warm caramel. Line each cup with the caramel by dipping it onto the dish. Carefully pour the alcoholic hot chocolate into the glasses or mugs, and top with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar, and a whole cinnamon stick for a spicy and sweet warm cocktail. 6. Classic Mulled Wine: Mulled wine is holiday time classic that is far from boring. Traditionally brewed at many of the Christmas Markets of Europe, this is a treat you won't soon forget! Instructions  2 oranges, peeled & juiced 3/4 cup sugar 3 white cloves 1 cinnamon stick 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg 2-star anise 2 bottles of Malbec Instructions  Begin by simmering half of a bottle of the Malbec on the stovetop all of the spices, sugar and orange juice. Once the sugar has fully dissolved, strain the mixture and then in a large saucepan, combine it with the remainder of the wine. Be very careful not to boil the mixture as this can make it lose alcohol. Serve in heat-proof cups and garnish each with a fresh orange peel and a cinnamon stick. 7. Cinnamon Whiskey Sour with Cranberry: This simple combination is sure to wow a crowd, with its pretty pink hue and classy taste only a whiskey sour can bring. Ingredients 2 c. fresh cranberries 2 c. filtered water 2 c. granulated sugar 2 whole cinnamon sticks 3/4 c. simple syrup 3/4 c. whiskey 1/2 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. orange juice 1/4 c. lime juice 1 c. ice Instructions  Begin this recipe in a large saucepan by bringing the cranberries, filtered water, granulated sugar, and cinnamon sticks to a slow boil on medium heat. Then, reduce the heat, and cook until the cranberries are soft. Remove from heat and carefully strain the mixture with a fine mesh into a large bowl. Allow it to cool for at least ten minutes before moving to the next step. For the cocktail, simply add the remaining ingredients of simple syrup, whiskey, lemon juice, orange juice, lime juice, and a handful of ice into a cocktail shaker, and mix for about a minute.
