Email

If you’ve done it well enough and offered something of value for free, then a bunch of people will opt-in. Now you have their email address and contact info and you can follow up with them for the end of time or until they unsubscribe.

So, its important to give out some sort of free gift that you give to people in order to get their email. Okay.

Emails- All You Need to Know:

So what is your free gift, what are some things that work, really? Free ebooks. I’m sure you’ve seen those: “download our free report on __” For example, the eBook that I was circulating as a free gift was – “The 11 questions to change your life”.

And then if people liked it (in a lot of cases they did), they want more and I give them an offer from my best Journal course, so there you know after they got it all they can get my best Journal course. So this is a very simple, opt-in I put 11 questions down and I give it away for emails (Shopify product research). Now, this right here has brought in probably ten thousand email addresses and, people have moved or they’ve unsubscribed or I’ve deleted them.

Like I talked about earlier, but just from this little book right here I was able to generate a lot of income. Now I have their contact. So whenever I have a new video out, I know that they’re interested in self-growth. So maybe if it’s a self-growth video, I’ll shoot it out to them. Or maybe if it’s like a new offer I have, I’ll shoot it out to them.

Checklist:

So anything like this, which is sort of like a free book and I say its more of a checklist, which is the second thing that works really well – you can do a checklist. I know some big entrepreneurs who were like to get the free YouTube checklist. Okay, like the five things to grow your YouTube channel get for free.

Checklist and you take their email through email marketing and then you send it to them and it’s all automated. Another thing that I’m a big fan of its free membership sites and. For instance, I’ve had one in my Facebook Community for YouTube entrepreneurs. It’s pinned in the description there. And so it’s like a gear list, a list of stuff you use or a quick start guide and the goal with your free report or your free opt-in or your baits is to get people immediate results.

A good question to ask yourself is, what’s like something that your audience could take action on open and get immediate results on in like 10 minutes. So you don’t want your free report to be like an entire book, right? Authors will say get my first chapter for free, you don’t want your free report to be like just mega long, although it is a strategy, I’m not a fan of it. If I get a free gift, I want it to be immediate action.

So here is like gear favorites for it and conveniently these are all affiliate links, which is also cool, because even if they don’t buy anything from me, down the road and they still get some good info if they want to buy something for themselves. Well, I make a commission on this. So that’s a cool way you can cross-pollinate your income streams.

I’ve built a multitude of free gifts and distributed them to my subscribers through click funnels something that they can do in 10 minutes or look at in 10 minutes, something that you can put together super quick even in like a Pages document or a Word document or a Google Document and just export it to a PDF. But don’t spend too much time on this, the goal is to just get something up that you can start giving away to people to collect their emails through the email marketing.

Best Way To Earn Passive Income: Email Marketing

Lastly, when it comes to email marketing is for you to have multiple lists. This is because people have different interests. The people who are interested in YouTube, they’re not guaranteed to be interested in personal development, for example.

They’re not, into maybe saving and investing and so if you talk about multiple things on your Channel, blog or your brand you want to segment your list as much as possible. Okay, so just try to narrow it down to people who like tennis or people who like golf or people who like swimming if you have a sports club or something like that, because of the tennis people are getting swimming tips. They’re going to unsubscribe.

They’re going to get pissed off and that makes sense because you signed up for tennis not swimming. So as much as possible whatever that is in your business, try and segment your list as much as possible. And so that’s why I have 20 lists of them have 300 people and some of them have 6000 people.

Transacting Safely In Craiglist

Craigslist is used by many to buy and sell stuff due to its simple interface. You can find almost anything on it. However, due to the large scale of transactions occurring, it is hard to keep track or even find out the credentials of the parties to the sale or the authenticity of the things being sold. To help you in maneuvering around the site, here are some tips for a safe and meaningful experience on Craigslist. Conceal Your Identity In Craigslist, you are given an option to either use your true email address or use the one provided by the site itself. Choose the latter. It’s safer to use the proxy e-mail as it can prevent scammers from accessing your real e-mail address. However, when you respond to someone, your true e-mail will then be exposed. You can opt to create an e-mail solely for Craigslist. Use ones from Mailinator, Gish Puppy, etc. to hide your true identity and preserve your anonymity. In addition, do not reveal your location or residential place. Always remember to remove geotags from the photos before you put them on Craigslist. Thieves and scammers can use programs that can read the information on location that are hidden in the file header. For starters, use the EXIF geotag removal app before posting online. Aside from contact details, do not also give in to requests that can reveal any personal or financial information. Some scammers will ask you to submit “credit checks” and such is a big no-no since they can get credit card information from it. Money wiring services is also often used by scammers. The best way to handle Craigslist transaction is by meeting in person and using cash or PayPal as a mode of payment. To See is To Believe Never buy something in Craigslist without seeing it personally. Scheming sellers can get photos online of items in good condition when in reality, the one they are selling is not in top shape anymore. You see this a lot when people sell their iPhone's and you will be disappointed to see a different item when you receive it via courier. Coffee shops, restaurants, and other places with lots of people are good locations to do the transaction. It is also advisable to bring a friend who will act as a witness to the entire sale. Do not leave your cellphone behind and make sure that at least one friend or relative knows when and where you will meet the buyer or seller. Craigslist actually recommends that parties deal in person by advising sellers and buyers to deal with people locally whom they can meet in person. Not A Dating Website Though some people do it, Craigslist is not the best place to find potential dates. There are other free dating sites like Plenty of Fish and OK Cupid, plus applications like Tinder, that you can use to find a date. These sites and apps have specialized privacy and security settings that are just not available in

The New Wave: Conquer Gen Z with Effective Marketing

“Millennials are just a bunch of spoiled brats!” The clamor against the Millennial generation, or Gen Y, has been a long-standing argument between the Baby Boomers and their successors. Not only did the coming of this new generation stir up the older generation and their way of living, but they also changed the way content marketers do marketing. Now, with the arrival of an even younger demographic, Generation Z, marketers face a new challenge. Gen Zers are currently the youngest generation having been born on or after 1996. They are also the first digitally-oriented flock with their smartphones, laptops, and of course, the internet. Marketing tactics like voice search and maps marketing are even more prevalent than ever before. The Post-Millennials are growing up. They're taking up a bigger and bigger slice of the world's consumer base, and Gen Xers are a tricky group. Think of them as a demographic stuck between getting ready for college applications and being full-fledged adults. Generation Z is the next big focus for a lot of brands and marketers, so should you. Here are five things you should do to keep up with the new wave of consumers. Let’s Get Real It's getting harder and harder to speak to Generation Z. They are blocking more ads through prevalent ad blockers. You might as well call them the ad-blocking generation. In fact, 31% of Gen Zers have ad blockers installed. Traditional advertising focuses on making ads that speak to an audience through carefully crafted messages. But Generation Z will have nothing to do with it. Instead, they would rather hear from real people in real-life situations. Post-Millennials want authenticity and reliability. It’s becoming a branding identity and marketing strategy. Reliability makes consumers feel like they've come to the right place and the right people. The key is to connect and encourage interaction. Keep Up With Social Media Generation Z is the first generation to have been born without knowing how life was before the digital age. Hence, the term “digital natives.” While Millennials pioneered Facebook and MySpace, Gen Z prefers platforms that are more personal, private, and uplifting. Before, career success, relationships, and financial prosperity played central roles in one's happiness. But according to the Center for Generational Kinetics, 42% of Post-Millennials feel that social media directly impacts how they feel about themselves. To connect with Generation Zers, use your brand to lift them up. Make them feel good about themselves. Create an Impact As we know, most Gen Zers barely give promotional content the time of day. They've never lived a life without the internet, making them the most technologically adept generation. They know heavily sponsored content when they see one. And they know what their attention is worth. Gen Zers expect your brand to have an impact, be it on the environment, or for social causes. They want to make a difference. A whopping 60% of Post-Millennials want their jobs to impact the world, and 76% are concerned about how humans are affecting the planet. If they’re concerned about making a stand and changing the world, they also expect your brand to do the same. Take a cue from some established brands, such as Toms, dedicated to providing shoes, water, etc. to those in need for every purchased pair. Don’t Beat Around the Bush Yes, attention spans are getting shorter than ever. From the reported 12 seconds, it has now declined to a mere eight! This reality means that marketers will have to work twice as hard in creating creative content that immediately engages the audience. But, it isn't all bad news. Think of today's scenario: On average, Millennials use three gadgets simultaneously, from TV screens, laptops, and tablets. On the other hand, Gen Zers use about five screens at the same time. If you present information that is fast, concise, and compelling, it increases the chances of young people sharing your content. It's a win-win situation. You get to craft better content and gather more shares. Go Digitally Native The secret to capturing the Post-Millennial's attention is through involvement. That's it. Gen Z was raised on technology, feeding off smartphones and social media and they know how to weed unauthentic ads from the genuine ones. Peer to peer involvement is crucial. Connect with your Gen Z consumers by making them a part of your products’ development. Through this strategy, you can build relationships and bridge the gap between the younger generation and your brand. No matter how much research you do, it will not be able to replace first-hand involvement. Takeaway In this day and age, you can say that Generation Z and technology are the same things. Have you ever seen a toddler playing games on an iPhone? It's a fascinating phenomenon. Gen Z grew up with technology from the start, and that's what makes them a trickier bunch to market. Be authentic and relatable. Show your intentions on making an impact with your brand. And most importantly, build relationships and meet Gen Z through the bridge that you've created.
